Earlier this year I saw an online photographic article that showed the effects of the hydraulic fracturing process on the communities of Pennsylvania, USA. I was stunned and horrified. I knew this process for extracting natural gas was bad news for the environment but didn’t realise the extent of the damage until I saw the photos and read the report by the journalists concerned.
I felt a rage and a grief that took me to the floor. What were humans thinking of? No sane civilization poisons their own water supply, kills their own people, and destroys the very place where food can grow to feed themselves. Was there anything we could possibly do that might make a difference to the horrors awaiting more and more countries, including England, if this madness was allowed to continue?
“Every action I take reveals the stand I have taken in life. And there are no excuses.”
K Bradford Brown
Before I went to bed that night I sat in my meditation room and asked the universe for help to find a way to help repair this schism of consciousness that is playing out through this destructive behaviour. This is not about saving the planet: it’s a contribution to saving humanity, otherwise we risk making this planet uninhabitable for not only our species, but all others as well. Without bees, plants, clean water and food, humans will not survive.
In the morning, I received an answer: record these meditations and share them with as many people as possible, so that we can continue to heal our own wounds and change our perception of how we can live in peaceful harmony on this planet. It took a week from the first ideas coming through from Asara to completing the recordings with some amazing friends.
A wise person, I think it was Albert Einstein, said “We cannot solve a problem from the same level of consciousness that created it”. Yes, very wise. Humanity clearly needs to change belief patterns and perceptions of what is possible if we wish to create peace, not destruction, on our planet. We are shifting our perception of what is possible, slowly, and there are many instances where we have been able to change the potential outcome of a situation by challenging governments and corporations to adjust their policies and ethics. But there is still a lot more to shift through before humanity is out of danger.
There are many ways to heal wounds: all ways are valid although it would seem that some take longer to become effective than others. I have found that when we work from a level that is beyond the human mind – the limiting part of us that likes to control and get in the way – it is possible to create amazing and lasting changes with very little effort and in very short time. This is the perspective that we use in these meditations, moving beyond limitation.
When I consider all the destruction and desperate situations happening around the globe, it is tempting to want to call on Star Fleet to beam me off to somewhere else much gentler and kinder. But what if I can begin to create somewhere that is gentle and kind through my own actions and thoughts? By focussing on what we want we can create it, right? What if it’s possible to create peace by tuning in to that vibration and anchoring it, amplifying it, and living it? Let’s see.
Please take the opportunity to follow through the three meditations that are included on the page link below, a few times, and see if you notice any difference in how you feel and the way you relate to others. Until I get sorted with a proper way to download them, let me know if you want to work with them regularly and I’ll send you the links. The tracks are given freely in love and service to all beings who live with this planet. Namasté.
This link Meditations for Peace will take you to the page with the MP3 tracks.
